| 782256 | 2009-06-14 10:56:00 | Hey guys so I have recently just brought a new 32" Sony full HD Bravia tv and a new HDMI cable to use for games and movies from my computer. So I basically know what i'm doing and I am able to use the tv as a single or double screen (with my original monitor) and am able to play music, watch videos and look at pictures on vista and win 7.... But I am finding that when playing games in vista, they load up perfectly fine but then when they enter the main screen, the game freezes and the computer becomes unresponsive even with reconnecting my original monitor or disconnecting the tv. My specs are: Vista Home Premium SP2 32 bit Intel Core 2 Duo CPU @ 3.00GHz 2GB RAM 2x 9600GT Nvidia Graphics Cards Though I have tried this on Windows 7 RC and the same games work perfectly fine with the HDTV (with single and dual monitors). Now I have checked between systems and each screen is full HD when gaming and at a refresh rate of 60 Hertz, they also have the same audio drivers and display drivers. I suppose I should also disable all background processes and such to also check if that's the issue, so will repost soon if anything new turns up.. The games in question I am having issues with are Fallout 3, Mirrors Edge, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise and Crysis, so I assume this is not game specific. Sorry if i have looked over something silly and stupid or forgot to check something:s But thank you so much if someone can provide some help or feedback/advice :) |
