Is this what youre talking about?? Thats the only thing, I can think of that shows the battery icon (The program you install for it). If you are, I know it can take over (if youre trying to use a wireless controller with an Xbox as well)

782204 2009-06-15 02:23:00 the xbox is not connected to the internet/xbox live
no adapter is on the xbox
the controller/console is 5 days old
there is 3 bars showing in the battery icon, will try some rechargable batteries though.

it was thought the wireless router was interferring with the controller

definately sounds like dodgy batteries or controller, more likely the controller though

If you are using a wireless controller on an xbox 360, then you can press the guide button on the controller & then a window pops up with a little "battery power level" icon somewhere on the window

I know that on my controllers the battery packs I use are so old now that they are really ****, they will show I have like 2 of 4 bars (sometimes even 3 of 4 bars) battery life left but the guide button green ring will start spinning, this is even after a full charge, im talking over night charging
