Pardon me for my ignorance in this area as I've never owned a MP3 before. :blush: Here. (reviews.cnet.com) I thought the same thing.:confused: You will find it under the bad |

| 626271 | 2008-01-02 10:16:00 | Yes Hmmm....Interesting. If they removed the reliance on itunes and made them slightly less gay they maybe worth $100 less then whatever they sell for currently. |

For the price of the 4gig samsung, you can get the 8gig ipod nano. So i think the prices are very competitive. Speedy swears using winamp for the ipod, so the itunes thing is no longer a factor, and there are other alternatives. |

| 626273 | 2008-01-02 10:24:00 | Yeah well, For me, drag and drop is a must, Touch screens/controls are rubbish, Strength is more desirable then sleekness, and there is plenty of money to be saved by looking at all the brands available. But, This thread isn't about what I like, and, I just sneezed, and then had the pleasure of watching a huge gobber roll slowly down my LCD.....:badpc: |

| 626274 | 2008-01-02 20:23:00 | Good Morning All. As I've mentioned earlier, I'm completely (more or less) new to MP3 thingy and never owned one before; I would therefore be very grateful to you guys out there for your valuable recommendations as to what Make and Model to buy for her B'day present. This is the most expensive (so far) present from me:D . We may have to go out shopping later today. Cheers |

| 626275 | 2008-01-02 20:29:00 | I have a friend bought a Samsung. You must use the software that comes with it - but it won't work on his pc. I don't like the touch screen. | wotz (335) | ||

As long as you can get over the fact you need to use itunes. And since your new to the whole MP3 thing, its probably fool free way of doing things |
