That is a completely different technique. I believe that patent deals with steganography, which involves concealing messages such that someone might look at the picture and think "yep - that's a bunch a flowers" but meanwhile there is a message hidden throughout the picture. As you can see, I'm not even trying to conceal the fact that a message exists.

I had a go at that and there is software out there that will find hidden messages within ordinary images.

But my method to obtain the first image code was pretty straightforward, although probably back to front to any expert.

I saved the image to my hardrive.

I then emailed a message to myself and attached the image.

I then used Windows Explorer to find my email folder within Mozilla.

The last message in the folder had that image code imbedded in it.

Simple! :rolleyes:
