| 626491 | 2008-01-02 05:27:00 | I seem to remember that Gregorian Calendars have fourteen arrangements of dates on days of weekly cycles . A such, there's one for each day of the week that begins common years and one for each day of the week that begins leap years . Now . . . . each of these fourteen arrangements repeat every 28 years as long as every fourth year has a 29-day February . This is the case as bounded within every century, and for two consecutive centuries if the second of them begins on an intercalary year . :stare: During those time frames the repetitions are not only every 28 years . . . . . . . . . . common year calendars also repeat after each six or eleven years in similar sequences with either 6-11-11, 11-6-11 or 11-11-6 years between them . A . D . or C . E . numbers of repeating years that cycle thru those patterns for two centuries are expressed in my chart below . So . . . . . . . . 2008 is a leap year, and therefor it is the same as a Tuesday +11 cycle shown below: 1924 1952 1980 2008 2036 2064 2092 Just pick a year with the same intercalary value and use it . :thumbs: |

Sorry for the obvious mistake . :lol: I dated a girl in High School in New Jersey who taught me this trick . . she could almost instantly tell you the date for any year for any day of the week . |

Don't you guys explore the place? :rolleyes: I will have attempt #4 at asking this to be fixed, just need to find my original messages as they contain the info required to fix this glitch . It is only a minor tweak, I'm sure Jan will be brave enough to give it a go . :thumbs: Oh, and when/if it does get corrected, I should point out the calendar is on full public display to logged in members so that anything you put into the calendar, all of us will get to see it on the main page when that date comes around . So, no memos to oneself to put out the rubbish next Tuesday . :p |
