626147	2008-01-01 02:42:00	I didn't need any 'puter this morning, I was busy getting plastered again. That is concreting; every day of 2008 so far. Ouch. What is more, we haven't had a drop of rain all year. Global warming? Ladies have wandered off to some park or other, and I think I may just stare at the inside of my eyelids for a while - too knackered to even crack a cold one. :(	R2x1 (4628)

626151	2008-01-02 07:07:00	It used to be the 6 oclock swill, now it's 24/48 hour swilling. We had half a crown (that's 25 cents to the younger ones) and that was 5 X 8 oz beers between 5 & 6 pm, a bit of tea and off to footie practice. We also have the great NZ shutdown over Xmas/New Year period that's about 4 to 5 weeks, now the cafes' are starting to close because of the new pay rates. Mr Oldferix and I spent New Year at Taihape, Population 1600, elevation 1450ft - drove there (two and a quarter hours) via the Napier/Taihape road (Gentle Annie). Only 27k unsealed of the 150k now - great views, desolate and unspoilt. Plenty of snow still on Ruapehu and Ngarahoe - now we know why summer is a little slow coming. This: www.gravitycanyon.co.nz/ is only a few K south of Taihape Spectacular and thrilling, but we were not brave enough to participate! Too old and wise to get 'hung over' these days! 626153	2008-01-02 16:23:00	Nice to see that there is some snow in NZ and that the penguins don't have to belly flop on rocks and gravel . We are just about to get really hit hard by three major "winter storms" that are to arrive here in about 12 hours . This'll be interesting to see if the recently burnt out areas are now gonna slide down the hills into the ocean . We expect over 15 inches of rain . . according to the weather guessers . That's 38 . 10cm to youse guys . Yesterday's fishing trip was a blow out . . . the whole place was full of people and I couldn't get near the water . . . not that they were fishing . . . they were just up from the barrio to destroy, vandalize and graffiti the rocks and the beaches . I imagine that the docents are busy this AM trying to return the place to some semblance of order . Gonna try a little striper fishing at Lake Skinner in about 3 or 4 hours . . . just before the storms hit they get really hungry . It's 08:20, Wednesday here right now .	SurferJoe46 (51)

I don't see any lawyers' booths set up outside of the facility . . why not? :xmouth: That not only looks dangerous, but the minimum age (10 years) is well below the age of accountability . . but not liability .
