| 782243 | 2009-06-14 21:20:00 | Mine is 0.8, haven't had any problems opening from within or doubleclicking and having it launch itself. Sometimes newer isn't better...... |

| 782244 | 2009-06-14 21:24:00 | Just as an aside, I don't like flv files as I am unable to fast forward them with VLC. So I try to convert them to mp4 or download them as MP4 in the first place. I use Keep It (its free as well) |

No addons required. Not sure if it does the HD clips as I don't think i've needed to download any :) |

| 782246 | 2009-06-16 05:47:00 | Oops . . . Accidentally found the answer here . There is an option called "Album Art Download Policy", and I set it as "When track starts playing" . So theoretically it will "helpfully" find something that I don't recall or care when I double-click on a file . So I set it "Manual Download" (but I'm not going to touch the trigger in a long time anyway . . . ) . Launched FLV again and . . . It took about half a second to display the first frame, and almost took no time on the second run, as it is already in the cache/RAM . Now THAT's what VLC should be:punk, and :thanks a lot to everyone who offered me helps . (running out of problems to ask for now  . P . S . I use Free Download Manager to download FLV from Youtube . Won't bother with exact instructions here . |
