| 783670 | 2009-06-19 11:14:00 | what is wrong: computer freezes during game play, nothing can bring it back, picture stays still, mouse and keyboard has no response, music freezes as well. I have to push the reset button everytime. my friend told me that it is a sign of faulty graphics card or mobo, is that true? info you might need: mobo:XFX 680 second hand from trademe, previous owner bought from playtech, i have the proof of purchase. BIOS: not sure if it is the latest version powersupply: 600W SLI ready. graphics card: bought brand new from playtech driver: I quite sure it is the latest version. many thanks for your help. cheers. |

Look under application / or systerm Its not crashing tho is it, it just freezes? Did you see it running properly before you brought it? I wouldnt buy a mobo 2nd hand unless I saw it running (with a game). Which would probably be never. Unless the person lived in Mt Eden. |

| 783677 | 2009-06-19 11:52:00 | If it crashes (windows) it'll probably show a BSOD (bluescreen). Freezing is just that, you cant move anything (which doesnt mean windows has crashed) Press ctrl-alt-del, (if it works), see whats hogging the CPU / using 100% |

Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance. is it of any relevence? what should I really look for? and thanks heaps for the info. cheers  |
