| 783502 | 2009-06-18 23:48:00 | Hi Now then when I have small home network (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) created I am using mostly from my bedroom while my dad works in his bedroom. The problem now I am getting that when I want to RDP (Remote desktop ) with my user login to my dads laptop, I can do it easily, BUT This RDP session logs my dad out from his log in. It means at the given time either him or myself can log in My question is : What should I do to rdp to my dad laptop so he can continue his work in his user account and I can rdp to my user account from my laptop. ? My both Laptop Configuration: - Windows XP SP2 - 3g Ram - Both has 2 windows users (me and dad) - Both Enabled Remote desktop & Remote assistant Turned ON |

| 783508 | 2009-06-19 00:58:00 | Sounds like you want 2 sessions at once, yours and your dads, but you cant with XP!, thats server 2003 terminal services...! | SolMiester (139) | ||
| 783509 | 2009-06-19 01:01:00 | Sure you are not complicating things ?? If you have remote desktop, the person who is being connected to will have a hard time working - the remote user ( YOU) takes over the actions of the mouse, keyboard everything on the client PC/Laptop. I know I'd be really pissed if I was trying to do some work, and someone who connected remotely suddenly starting closing programs, altering settings. Sure you dont just need access to files between computers ? |

Isn't this means that I can use my keyboard and mouse to my user login and my dad can keep using their ? |
