| 628084 | 2008-01-07 20:02:00 | If the person concerned was a member of PCW, perhaps they could buy an updated clock for the forum.  Given what a load of "stuff" it tells us, the clock may well have been updated on a more or less continuous basis. So much so, the date has spread the affliction to the calendar. :horrified |

| 628087 | 2008-01-07 20:42:00 | I see there is no-one that has said anything as silly as, "I would continue working," Well.....actually.........I would. Sort of anyway. I like being a tech. Not sure I'd keep the shop, or if I did, I'd hire some young keen person to run it for me. But I'd still fix PCs. Payment wouldn't be an issue though...... But I'd get withdrawal symptoms not doing it at all..... |

| 628090 | 2008-01-08 00:08:00 | Pctek: Are you certain about that? With that sort of money, you would not need to fix PCs because you needed to but because you wanted to. So why not fix PCs in Germany or France? Don't let the fact that they speak a different voltage or language, put you off. Surely if you had to speak nothing but French for six months you would learn the language quickly and easily - and the very arrogant French are not interested in talking to you silly English people unless you speak French. If you kept the shop, it would not be because of the money it was making, so if you can find a good keen worker, why not help him buy the shop? After travelling around USA and Europe for some months you would get withdrawal symptoms once home for a while. Travelling is fun! And it makes you appreciate this lovely green country with a great climate. |

| 628092 | 2008-01-08 00:15:00 | I'd give a quarter of it to family, 1 mill each to Women's Refuge and 1 to Auckland Mission. Buy a big house, a medium size boat, a Porsche Cayenne twin turbo, give a bunch more to friends and invest the rest. I'd carry on working as I do from home. | Greg (193) | ||
