| 627889 | 2008-01-08 00:46:00 | Forgot to state that I have NEVER got a card this close to it's use-by date, previous record was 18 months before expiry date when the card failed by delaminating. The fore-runner to the present card lost it's data after about 3 weeks. I must be a card-killer. National bank cards tend to delaminate after a year or so. This is unlike my TSB card which I have had for nearly 10 years, and apart from being worn and a small crack, it hasn't delaminated. I don't thiknk they charge for new cards if it becomes to worn or breaks during normal use. |

| 627890 | 2008-01-09 21:06:00 | Good news. I started this thread when on the 7th Jan my bank said it would be several weeks before I got a replacement eftpos card, because of the Christmas rush and holidays etc. Well it arrived yesterday the 9th Jan. I had to go to the bank to put the pass number on it and no charge. So it was better than several weeks. Tom |
