| 629291 | 2008-02-16 21:36:00 | hi, i am wondering if anyone can help diagnois my car problem. i have a mitsubishi fto - auto - 1995. the 1st part of the problem was that my battery just died out of the blue, got a new battery and put it in. this worked for about an hour but everytime i idled the battery light came on and it had a weird humming noise. then it completely died again, the car wont start and when i tried to turn it on, it has a very weird, loud humming noise coming from behind the dashboard in the motor. i have had a look at this site and a sticky solenoid seems to be a possible option but we are concerned that it could be another problem too....can anyone please help me.... thank you!!
