629110 2008-01-10 21:39:00 Great suggestion Metla

I've upped the limit to 100 for now, should be in effect as of right now.
We'll see how we go with 100 for a while, before we possibly up it again sometime in the future.

629112 2008-01-11 02:06:00 I am always running out of space also but just use the option to export the ones I want to save to a text file then just do a big purge. What's so hard about that?

Edit: Dammit it, as long as the clock doesn't get gronked I want the limit increased too. :D

Foxy, I really like that idea.

But on the "What's so hard about that?" front - some of us (i.e. me) would be grateful for a brief rundown on HOW.

(Yes, I know I should know that, but my trial & error system often turns out to contain many errors...)

On your Private Messages page, scroll down to the bottom and where it says "Download all Private Messages as:" and click on the Text option .

You can play around with the other options as well, if you wish, to see if either would suit you better .

Note that if some messages are not deleted from your Inbox or Outbox they will be included each time you download them .

It's good to see that green bar stretching across the page a bit further now .

629116 2008-01-11 04:48:00 Mind you the clock - was working and then the calendar got fixed - clocks knackered again ( edited - fixed it seems) - careful the limit doesn't drop to 5

Don't worry about that - the rule is that every time something other than the clock gets fixed, the clock breaks again :p

Used to be, the clock could break itself with no assistance.
Those were not the good old days, they were just timeless moments.
