| 783852 | 2009-06-20 05:11:00 | That's a sneaky trick even for HP. If the buyer is a newbie who hasn't a clue on how to make a recovery disk ??? Just created recovery disk for my HP lappy. HP has a user guide that explains the easy steps in creating recovery disks. It also has a recovery program thats guides you through the process. So it is up to the newbie to make sure that he reads the laptop user guide first before deciding what he wants to do on his laptop. |

| 783853 | 2009-06-20 05:16:00 | Yep step sons new Toshiba came without discs, he didn't want to make a recovery set even though it told him to, so I made him make them even supplied the discs was very easy just follow the prompts and insert discs as it asks for them just need to write on them what they are and the order they are made. | 783857 | 2009-06-20 23:09:00 | Wonder how much they will charge for it,, $250?? Should be < $100 A couple of months back, I did ask HP about a recovery CD/DVD for a desktop machine and was about $70. - remembered vaguely. |
