| 783513 | 2009-06-19 02:01:00 | You could try teamviewer over LAN if you want, slower but simple Ditto - I was going to also suggest team viewer, but if its for working on other PC's over a LAN I personally use Real VNC (www.realvnc.com) its similar to UVNC - but all the remote desktops, Real, UVNC, teamViewer also take over the client desktop. If you wanted to use files on your Login on your dads Laptop ( and Visa Versa), I would suggest logging into your account, share the folders then from your Laptop you will have access to them over the LAN, doesn't matter if your father is logged in, it wouldn't affect him. Thats one of the many points of having a LAN, sharing files and resources on other PC's from within the LAN Eg: printers. |

| 783514 | 2009-06-19 02:34:00 | I have this running at my home computer; my brother can log in using one account and I can log in remotely using my own account without each person interfering with the other. XP originally had this feature in betas but because of licensing issues, it was removed. You can enable it again: www.golod.com |

| 783515 | 2009-06-22 05:15:00 | *** RESOLVED *** Remote Desktop from Laptop to another Laptop use uvnc (http://uvnc.com), one computer run server, second computer run client, View from client so you can access first computer. Eazy and quick. some screen resolution issues but does not matter. Cheers all of you once again. :punk |
