| 628117 | 2008-01-07 06:16:00 | Anyone know where I could source some new fridge seals for a standard F&P fridge? My cat has ripped my fridges seals apart by trying to get into the fridge. I have looked online and found a company that does fridge seal repairs, but the cost is almost the same cost as buying a new fridge. It looks to be a very easy job, as the seals simply push in. I have tried trade me but can't see anything. |

| 628120 | 2008-01-07 06:28:00 | We got Seal-A-Fridge to do ours, and they did a good job, including re-aligning the door because it was crook and causing some of the sealing problems we had noticed. http://www.sealafridge.co.nz/ Not sure where they have technicians - we are in ChCh - but they have an 0800 number so maybe they are across the country. The no is 0800 36 77 99. There is an email contact on their webpage. |

If so, ask them where you can buy these seals in Wellington. I would have thought that an Electrical Wholsaler woul have/get them for you. PJ. |

| 628125 | 2008-01-07 06:54:00 | Re Petone.. I liked Petone. We lived in Manor Park in the lower NZED Married Village. We used to take the train down there to do our weekly shopping. Got fush & chups & sat on the sea wall to eat them. One Wife. One pushchair, a sack of spuds, groceries & vegies all on the train. This is back in 1964, things were a lot different back then. We would unload onto the platform, in a pile. We would head for home carrying what we could & leave the rest on the platform. I would go back & get it, it would still be there. Not today I would think Good times & good weather then. PJ |
