| 627685 | 2008-01-06 02:09:00 | Australian government are going to censor the internet: www.techcrunch.com They are blocking all porn,including LEGAL porn. You would think they would just block ILLEGAL porn and NOT legal porn. Australia are turning into china. the aussie government is under fire from people saying, are the government going to censor sites that critisize them?: www.physorg.com No doubt someone will find away around the isp filters. I'm surprised no-one from china has found a way past their filters because they have had filters for years. The filter works by everytime you type in ANY url, it has to be checked against the filter's blocklist,which will slow down australia's internet by 70%. Looks pretty hard to bypass. |
