783740 2009-06-19 20:52:00 1) Whenever I download something I don't get any prompt as to where I want to download to. Is there something I can do to change this? I'm currently using Firefox but want to change to Seamonkey.

2) The Windows search function doesn't appear on my Start menu. How can I sort this please?

Thanks

In SeaMonkey the setting is under:
Edit - Preferences - Browser - Downloads.

No idea about Firefox, but i'm sure it's download manager has a similar option.

783743 2009-06-21 22:10:00 The search is at the bottom of the start menu, just type something in and see. Rob99 (151)
783744 2009-06-21 22:48:00 Also be aware they have really munted the "My Documents" system of folders, adding a couple more layers just to make it difficult and Vista throws downloads somewhere into its murky and retarded depths. Metla (12)

What's the problem? My Documents becomes "Documents". My Music becomes "Music". Downloads go into a folder called "Downloads".

783746 2009-06-21 22:55:00 I like the new "libraries" feature in W7. Much more simplified than Vista. Blam (54)

Not from a support point of view, this new Win7 system is going to be a nightmare.

I see no point in relegating the documents folder down to a second tier folder alongside the music and picture folders, If you exit out of your documents in order to navigate to another folder you are presented with the directory for your user account. Stupid stupid stupid.

Fair enough - I don't really see that since I am used to using the links on the left hand side.
