| 783376 | 2009-06-18 19:24:00 | I wonder if anyone knows of a very short (Like 150mm or 6") USB A Male to USB A female extension for sale anywhere in New Zealand I have found them in the US but not here yet. I installed a USB wireless access point for my Son in Law but it came with a 1 meter cable which is silly, and plugging the adaptor in directly into the Laptop is dangerous as it could be easily knocked. Of course, if any reader happens to have a surplus one, I would be interested in Buying it |

| 783379 | 2009-06-18 21:29:00 | Hey, I also have an "around here somewhere" location, too:D It must be quite big as there are a lot of things there. It's going to be exciting if I stumble across it! Oh, BTW, it has a short USB extension cable in it as well - sorry. | linw (53) | ||

| 783381 | 2009-06-18 21:35:00 | I have a hub with a very short cable that does that job for one of my laptops. Works well, just a cheapy from any online store. www.dse.co.nz |

The connection is in no way rubbishy and in fact is well made with thick shielding surrounded by plastic acting as armour. Can be bent into the shape you desire which it then maintains. |
