1439736 2017-09-26 01:30:00 CLIMATE CHANGE:

The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulate at Bergen Norway.

Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone.

Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes.

Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm.

Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.

Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.

Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coast cities uninhabitable.

I must apologize. I neglected to mention that this report was from November 2, 1922 , as reported by the AP and published in The Washington Post 93 years ago. This must have been caused by the Model T Ford's emissions or possibly from horse and cattle farts.

1439737 2017-09-26 01:52:00 There had already been more than a century of industrial revolution derived emissions.
What is your point?

Yes indeed it’s old news, given that it’s been around since 1922, and good on Ken for raising the matter 6 years ago .

I’m also pleased you find the matter exciting .

What do think about the idea of dropping the Carbon Tax and replacing it with a Givealittle page?

That would appease both sides of the argument and have Ice down to the equator in no time . :clap

Oh I didn’t think I’d have to explain this, but here goes.

Since this meltdown a hundred or so years ago man has produced Millions of motor cars, coal fired steam engines in Trains, and Boats, and Factory’s, and Power Stations, and so on, and all the ice came back.

Then design improvements cut the carbon emissions and the Ice started to melt again.

The Cows have tried to help out but what with producing Milk and Beef it has just become too much for them.

Now I hope that clarifies matters, but feel free to ask if you need further explanation.

What you mean is you can't handle the facts no matter how politely put.
