1439713 2017-09-24 23:10:00 On Saturday I listed an auction and the shipping option to the South Island was quoted as $7.75 using the TM ready reckoner.

Today, when I try to arrange pick-up, I am given a cost of $24.53.

Am I, as the seller, expected to pay this increased fee?

TM do not appear to have a toll free contact telephone number that I can call to get clarification :(

Sometimes you can get caught out posting across the Straight

Who is the Trademe reckoner company?

I usually pick my own, Pass the Parcel for instance, or the big things, Castle Parcels.
Far cheaper, and PTP collect so no drop off needed.

1439718 2017-09-25 04:35:00 Slow-way?
They are the pits, one parcel I had sent to me when we were in Karamea,
went from Auckland to Greymouth, Greymouth to Auckland, Auckland to Christchurch,
Christchurch to Westport, then finally a week and 5 days after initial dispatch out to Karamea.
When I complained they tried to deny all that palaver had even occurred,
but I had screen-shots of the tracking debacle before they erased it.
I'll never use the twits again.

all as bad as each other
its what happens when you have guys working 14hour days, 6 days a week
earning not a lot , employed as contractors but treated like employees(told what to do & when)

I call them slow-way because they are the slowest in getting stuff to me.
If you don't approve, too bad.

1439721 2017-09-26 00:36:00 I've used a lot of them, sending and receiving, in various locations.

The conclusion I came to is, it depends on the individual driver not the company.
