1439564 2017-09-22 17:18:00 Registry cleaners come with all kinds of promises – they'll optimize your PC, give it a speed boost, eliminate errors and prevent crashes – but that's not the full picture.
The Windows registry is a database containing almost all your PC’s hardware and software settings. When you uninstall a program, its registry keys should be removed too, but this doesn’t always happen.
If you own a Windows PC, you'll be used to performing some basic maintenance tasks to keep it running smoothly and prevent problems with applications or files. Most of us regularly update our virus definitions, empty the Recycle Bin and so on.
When it comes to PC maintenance, a Registry Cleaner should also be part of your toolkit. Its purpose is to keep your Windows Registry tidy, efficient and help applications to run without a hitch.

1439565 2017-09-22 21:40:00 Hi, welcome to the forum.

I would like to know why you copied your post from the TechRadar website? It sort of reminds me of the restaurant reviews you read which start off saying how much you enjoyed your dinner and service at X restaurant and as the enthusiastic review continues it morphs into "my restaurant is the best and my chefs are world experts".

I am super excited to see what other new member may post here to recommend a registry cleaner software. I am subscribed to this thread so I don't miss that great tid-bit. :)
