Speculation by people. As I said, ridiculous rumour. Hes done it before so there's nothing stopping it happening again.

1440425 2017-10-15 05:31:00 Yeah, I’d say it was almost a safe bet that he will be Deputy along with some major portfolios.

And I wouldn’t rule out him being Prime Minister, but that would probably be with Labour at longer odds.

Unfortunately, the TAB aren’t taking bets, not allowed to on Elections I believe.

Time will tell if the rules have saved me money. :D

Yes that’s the only place he can wind up if both Labour and National have rejected his overtures, but hell, he would then be a problem for both from there.

Interesting times ahead, and it’s been so peaceful without any of them. :)

1440431 2017-10-15 20:31:00 Interesting interview with Bill English on the radio today
He stated that Nat/NZ1st are no where near an agreement that either party could sign off on or present to 'the board'

so, either another ~misleading statement~ from Winston regarding the timeframe (most likely) . I didnt want to say a lie :-)
or, Winnies going with Labour , so didnt put effort into a formal agreement to consider with National

I think there's a mistake in the National Govt seats for 2008.

1440433 2017-10-15 21:13:00 Listening to the stories on MSN, another one today - The three ring circus carries on LOL. It could actually come down to a even minor party (greens) deciding. If Whinnie doesn't want to go with National, then its the greens that could really decide. OR as in the segment - Could force another election ------ And who says politics isn't like kindergarden
