1440113 2017-10-05 21:00:00 Its not a deal breaker just didn't want the hassle/expense of a belt which must be changed, worn or not to maintain the cars service history

you'll regret that it for any reason the chain or tensioners needs to be serviced :) ( Nissan Stagea for example )
sometimes pays to consider worst case scenarios with used cars . So many people get caught out and face thousands of $ of repairs .

Advantages of a belt drive...
.

Husbands old ute had a chain. When we sold it it had around 650,000 on the clock and nothing had ever been done to the chain, nor the motor.......it was getting tired....

I've been told they last a lot longer but eventually start wearing out, causing the engine to run more and more inefficiently. If the chain ever breaks, it it can do major damage to the motor.

1440118 2017-10-09 09:21:00 OK

I have narrowed it down to two possible models but I not some advice.

IS250 between 70k and 110k on the clock, newest being 2010
OR
IS350 between 80k and 110k on the clock, newest being 2008

Faster/bigger engine, vs k's, vs age
thoughts?
