| 1440113 | 2017-10-05 21:00:00 | Its not a deal breaker just didn't want the hassle/expense of a belt which must be changed, worn or not to maintain the cars service history you'll regret that it for any reason the chain or tensioners needs to be serviced :) ( Nissan Stagea for example ) sometimes pays to consider worst case scenarios with used cars . So many people get caught out and face thousands of $ of repairs . |

I've been told they last a lot longer but eventually start wearing out, causing the engine to run more and more inefficiently. If the chain ever breaks, it it can do major damage to the motor. |
