Must be a bit of a slap in the face for National, in less than 8 weeks going from a sure smug winner to could lose, its all in Winstons hands. :lol: All that can happen now is wait and see. The kingmaker role is not new to Peters. NZ First has previously worked with both major parties, entering into a coalition with National in the 1996 election with Peters serving as deputy prime minister and forming an unusual confidence-and-supply agreement with Labour in 2005, which saw him appointed foreign minister. OMG :eek: Prefect must be slipping - no "commie" comments in a political based post. Edited: Just read back TWO posts --- Confusing day indeed :( |

However, don't forget the National hit job on Winston in revealing his private pension details, which rather backfired on them. He didn't like that one little bit and no doubt it will play a part in his decision.
