1439756 2017-09-27 09:59:00 In 1922 ?? The amount of pollution globally would be infinitesimal compared to present day.

Exactly, and the Ice melted, then for the next 70 odd years we poured tons of carbon into the atmosphere courtesy Ships, Trains, Power Stations, inefficient Cars and Trucks, Factory’s etc. and the Ice returned.

So how do you explain the Ice melting when there was infinitesimal pollution as you put it?

1439757 2017-09-27 11:51:00 I will say that we don't improve things.

But as there have been 5 (that we know of) extinctions before, we can't be blamed for all of them.
Things happen, the planet warms and cools as well.

The repeat-offending Epsom voters can be blamed for the lot. The crowd that gave us Roddden Hide are capable of anything.

How do you explain the pine trees in the Antarctic before cars?

Change in the Gulf stream as noted in the article you posted.

Metrics.
Change from fahrenheit to centigrade to celsius.
Plus daylight saving.

Oh I see. The Gulf Stream melted the Ice and tons of Carbon Pollution got it back.

I wonder if the Gulf Stream might be at it again and the Carbon issue is a red herring.

There’s an awful lot of money riding on this Rort. ;)

Yes, and you may remember a few years ago Greenpeace or some similar organisation produced photos of a stone fence that had become exposed from under snow and ice claiming that it was irrefutable evidence that the Global Warming was a priority issue.

It never occurred to them that there can’t have been much ice when the fence was built and the fence was probably built to retain grazing animals.

1439763 2017-09-28 03:24:00 Gulf stream melts the ice-caps so there is more colder water to block the Gulf stream, ice forms again, Repeat ad infinitum and ad nauseum, like your arguments. Whenu (9358)

Ohhhhh! Very interesting.

Oh, so CO2 has nothing to do with things. :clap

Just as I thought. :)
