| 1439501 | 2017-09-23 01:43:00 | If you get yourself a USB flash drive you could use either Unetbootin or Rufus to make a bootable USB installer, assuming your machine can boot to USB devices. I'm going there ASAP. I'd like to have a bootable thumb for that very reason - I believe that I had Puppy on a stick too and it worked on this same 'puter very well. Youse guys chuckled at my using Puppy - but I was getting along quite well in it even though it couldn't handle my sound card(s) at all! Get this and you won't have any trouble burning .iso's http://www.imgburn.com/ I've done that before - can't remember if it was successful or not - but I'll try that too. |
