NZ dollar is at the mercy of overseas currency speculators , they play a big part in setting its value . So who knows where the NZ $ will be in 2 years.

More importantly, will there still be a new Zealand Dollar in two years? :(

You should have kept that for Mondays Jokes Lawrence.

The Administrators must have purchased bloody expensive Cots to run the campaign from, and the fact they are requesting Tithes confirms what I've always suspected. They are a weirdo Religion.

One thing you can be sure of and you dont need to be an economy forecaster to forecast that in 2 years the commies will have made our currency worthless.
I just hope it does not go as low as the Rhodesian and Venezuelan currency.

1440570 2017-10-26 12:48:00 And let's not forget no-one will see the $20 for three years from now anyway. In 2020 the net present value will probably be even less than the new current minimum is worth now. But Jacinda and her finance man have both probably never heard of discounted cash flows let alone understand its principles. All they're counting on is that a lot of water will have passed under the bridge by then and the average voter will be swayed by $20 and other election bribes.

All that extra income will be chewed up by $3.50 a litre petrol

1440571 2017-10-26 20:46:00 You can't bump the minimum wage telling us that 16 bucks is not enough to live on and then hit us with a car tax. There is no point in making life cheaper one day and more expensive the next.

Mike Hosking on the flawed economics thinking of a government in power day one.
