| 1440228 | 2017-10-05 07:52:00 | Yeah I've definitely had CourierPost deliver stuff from eBay and AliExpress. Normally the signature required stuff. It's really amusing when something that cost like $1 or even nothing to ship from AliExpress gets delivered by a Courier on a Saturday morning. Don't really understand who pays for that haha. We pay for it - when we send - including domestically - as no free shipping for consumer goods within NZ. I think NZ post has agreement with China Post (annualreview2016.nzpost.co.nz) (pdf report for NZ Post 2016). This ebay seller's blog review (thydzik.com) (How ebay sellers make money from 99 cents) believes how sending parcels subsidizes free shipping from China. I mean I've come across Trademe seller shipping fees about 3 - 5 times the cost of the same low cost item (or several same/bulk items) I have purchased on eBay/Aliexpress with free shipping. |

That may explain a few things When I bought a large RC Plane from Bangood, sent in a 4ft long box , courier cost from China to NZ was $2 . And that was on a fast 1 week delivery (EMS ?), not the usual 4 weeks Exact same thing sent to Aus was $80 in freight (there was an Assie complaining about his shipping cost) |

| 1440232 | 2017-10-06 00:42:00 | My last order came with the postie yesterday from them If it's small they'll leave it in the letterbox. I get that not delivered thing too. I just wait a few days. Some of the entries on the site, said it was refused. wtf.. I cant refuse it, if I never saw / received it. And some of them are too lazy to come to my door. They'll leave a calling card in the letterbox. They can't say I'm not at home. Because I am I usually fix that by ringing them / and make a complaint. Then tell them to come to the front door. And they do And some of them don't know the alphabet. I'm A, and some of the orders have been put in B's letterbox Most of mine have been NZ post, and some have been PBT I think it was. And some I dont know what they are. They come in cars with no names on them at all |

| 1440234 | 2017-10-06 03:25:00 | I spoke to a nice lady at NZ Post. Told her the story. She asked for the tracking number. She had no explanation for the failed delivery notification. Told me the item was with a courier to be delivered today, and it arrived shortly after. So thats that, bit of an anticlimax, storm in a tea cup. |
