Hopefully it will help dry things out around here between showers :)

I thought about it, and being the minority should allow me all sorts of taxpayer-funded wrap-around services, but decided against it.
For now.

Dont forget the old issue of the disruption to farming . All those cows need to change all their clocks as well :)

I love being able to sit outside in the sun for an hour longer after work.
Or having that extra hour of daylight to actually do stuff after work , makes all the difference .

1439688 2017-09-26 17:40:00 Time for my six monthly rant about daylight saving.
Just finished changing Eleven devices here.

Those eleven devices need to be brought into this century: but new ones that are IOT friendly.

1439689 2017-09-29 03:02:00 Traditional daylight savings trick. 10am before, alter clocks that are going to need altering. Proceed to drink until sense of time is lost. Wake up next day, as usual, no sense of lost time the_bogan (9949)
1439690 2017-09-29 04:00:00 Just to be clear - I do NOT have any IOT devices - well except for my tablets that automatically update themselves as to date/time/appointments, etc.

And my desktop puters - but in all I don't think any of these qualify as IOT anyway.

Never mind.

1439691 2017-09-29 08:25:00 Just look on daylight gerrymandering as a form of jet-lag without the need for airline food, security scans, travel agents, lost luggage and dodgy foreign water supplies. R2x1 (4628)
