Can we compromise and only advance half our clocks, or perhaps advance all of them half an hour, or declare our support for the govt by putting all clocks back a couple of hours? Perhaps we should treat the election results the way the govt treats referendum results? - - nobody gets called up by the governor general and the beehive takes a suitable role on Guy Fawkes night.
