| 1440454 | 2017-10-19 14:41:00 | Theres one thing most people seem to forget. Its NOT just one person who has the say on everything. The leaders are really the mouth pieces. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks, it takes approval from all the parties, Lab/NZF/Greens, they all have to vote, nut out any forthcoming actions, then passed etc, a full Process. As for Nat losing- well they were there for 3 terms, 9 years and as one comment on "Stuff" So now there's a change, lets see how things develop. There is NO MAGIC fix or changes that happen by snapping our fingers. Many people wanted a change, they have it. If more people wanted to carry on down the current path Nat would have won like last time. People Voted for MMP - thats what we got. MANY dont get how it works. Its NOT FPTP. Yes, but it would be nice if NZF would tell us which way they will go in advance. |

Thats one horse thats bolted . Instead we will get 3 year plans, changing every 3 years with a change in govt . The Cullen fund will funded again, via borrowing. Thereby moving the issue of paying for it to the NZer's not yet born (seriously , that will happen) Min wage will be $20 an hour (jokes aside, that will happen) |

Good on Winnie. :) as much as Im anti looney lefty .. more right than left I have to admint we need labor every now & then to push through changes that Nat wont consider, simply due to Nats Right Wing dogma overriding common sense. In the CBD on Monday, I saw homeless who has taken over a bus shelter. Thrown a tarp over the front & turned it into their dwelling. Thats what NZ has become. NZ was becoming too expensive for the masses to afford to live here. When a weeks rent is equal to the median wage... Lets see it anything actually changes, or just another 3 years of talk . |
