1440364 2017-10-09 05:02:00 A lively debate yesterday between some mates, of various political persuasions, whilst they were doing quality Control on the contents of my liquor cabinet, raised some interesting scenarios.

For what it’s worth, my contribution was that if I were Jacinda, I would go to Winston and tell him that I would have no problem with him being Prime Minister on the proviso he stepped down prior to the next election and either retired or swapped places.

I would tell him I felt I was a bit young and inexperienced to be Prime Minister but would be happy to finish my apprenticeship under him. (figuratively speaking) ;)

This would tick a lot of box’s.

He would go down in history as having been a Prime Minister and the first Maori Prime Minister as Muldoon once predicted.

It would serve absolute Utu on National for their many wrongs.

And it would make negotiations for Labour on so many other matters so much easier.

I must say I didn’t get overwhelming support from the mates but it made them thirstier. :D

1440371 2017-10-09 06:44:00 My bet is that the new Gov't will look like a bunch of dorks, and will act accordingly (after raising parliamentary pensions of course).

I don't see the point of your post, we have an MMP system, electorates are barely relevant.
