| 1440082 | 2017-10-03 02:00:00 | Time for a new car, its been 10 years since I brought one so need a little help :) Specifically recommendations to narrow down the field a bit Anything newer than 2000 obviously newer the better I am not splurging so no more than 15k Wants 4 or 5 Door Sedan or Hatch Sporty looking Alloy Wheels / Low Profile tyres 2.0L minimum engine size Petrol Chain drive (NO CAMBELTS) Rear wheel drive Auto preferred but manual is fine The Little Things Bright hallogen/Led type headlights (always had dim lights, always bothered me) Push button ignition parking camera decent stereo |

| 1440083 | 2017-10-03 02:07:00 | The only car I can think of that meets all those requirements is a Toyota Mark X. If you weren't worried about RWD, then a Toyota Blade would be a good option. Basically a Corolla with a Camry engine. There are even some 3.5l ones around, I expect they would go like a cut cat. www.trademe.co.nz |

Shape isn't really grabbing me, I like the longer type hatches like the WRX but not these little squashed ones. Truth be told I would much prefer a sedan. |

Never understood why they don't sell them new here. RWD, Sporty, under 15K - nothing springs to mind at all. RWD is mostly in the realm of sports cars these days. Wait a few years until the price drops and get a BRZ / GT86 ? I tried a trademe search on RWD under 15K and came up with nothing I would buy |
