He is the leader of a party that gained enough of the vote to allow either the right (National) or the Left (Labour/Greens) to make a majority and hence form a government. This gives his party considerable power, as you see. This is how our system works, like it or not. |

I imagine that's what he will be wanting. I can see Labour agreeing to something along those lines(maybe Winston PM for some of the term, then Jacinda), National not so much. |

Some form of PM sharing? Giver it to him - he's already been in very senior roles, and he's reaching his twilight years. National was were he started but booted him out later, then JK ignored him like a plague - and now Nat's have leaked his super payments, and campaigned him out of this electorate by advocating cutting out the middle man... |

Unlike Mr Key, funny no-one said that when he became PM. Anyway, I'm not bothered, Winston will require some agreement with some of his policies, fair enough....and it keeps whoever ends up in, under some control. I much prefer it to FPP. |
