| 631284 | 2008-01-18 08:09:00 | My understanding is that 150 people is the sweet spot for peak efficiency of groups attempting to do things, any less and you have lack of wo/man (phew lucky I remembered) power problems, anymore and communication problems become significant, something to do with the maximum number that each individual can actually interface with in a given time. I stand to be corrected on this. Adding to this I believe that, as is seen in NZ all too often, another problem will be the "too many Chiefs not enough Indians problem" which is hinted at above. In other words a few key skilled workers being harassed by over zealous management as to when each Chief's particular job will be completed, each Chief not realizing that the other Chiefs are doing exactly the same thing to the same skilled worker. |
