785046 2009-06-24 05:40:00 LOL, you used "tastec" and "great" in the same sentence.

Ive never had a problem with him, id rather him than dragonpc

785047 2009-06-24 06:48:00 Only ever made one purchase from Tastech, an 8600GT silent cooled...

Well it took about 2 weeks to get here and when it finally did it had faulty RAM

But a replacement was received in only a few days after I sent the faulty card to a place in Auckland (I think it was Dove)

I think his choice of courier was pretty useless but otherwise it was OK

785048 2009-06-24 08:17:00 I've also read that the 900 is so big the most of the time extender PSU cables are needed.
I'm going to use an ATX sized PSU so it should be OK?
pcuser7895 (12979)
785049 2009-06-24 09:56:00 The only PSU cable that you MAY need to get an extension for is the 12v (AUX?) 4/8pin connector for the CPU. My Antec NeoHE's cable even reached through the back of the 1200 case I had. qazwsxokmijn (102)
785050 2009-06-24 09:59:00 Nah, its fine really. Get a proper PSU and the cable should be fine. IIRC the 900 does have the PSU on the bottom though, some people think its great, others don't.

785052 2009-06-24 10:39:00 Looks great!

That graphics card is an excellent choice, I've read that it performs very well in Xfire, almost on par with the GTX 280 but for much less.

:)

785054 2009-06-28 09:36:00 Just wondering, if I put in an ATi Radeon HD 4870 into the pc, would the power supply be able to handle it and would the case be big enough? pcuser7895 (12979)
785055 2009-06-28 09:44:00 Yep and yep. From what i can tell the 4870 should sit just under the 5.25 bays hueybot3000 (3646)
