Speedy, for my household Sky Digital is not a waste of Money, that and Freeview is all we can get where we are, no other free to air services are available, only Digital Satellite... And it is the content which makes people get it if they can get other free to air services. I like channels like the Discovery channel, infact my decoder has been on that for 3 days straight . Where else can I get that free to air? Can't |

| 629747 | 2008-01-13 05:09:00 | Well digital may not be a waste, but that may depend on how many people are paying for it. In my case, I was the only person paying for it, which was a waste of money. Well UHF not digital that is. |

| 629752 | 2008-01-13 17:02:00 | Ok here goes. You want sky. so you ring them up a nice person answers. Yousay you want sky they sign you up. they take your name and address so the little skyman can come out to your place to fit the dish etc. Your address also goes to the accounts dept so they can send out your bill. Your package is entered into the big sky computer, which then knows just to send that package to your decoder. Hope that helps. |

| 629755 | 2008-01-15 06:39:00 | Sky is nothing but a total scam and a crap company to deal with, there customer service leaves much to be desired, from what Sky once promised to what it is today is nothing like the claims they made. Their repeats run into what can only be coined by the term as erroneous television. I use to have Sky, but decided to pay the early cancellation fee, as I was sick of the repeats. If digital is your only option, then freeview is the way to go. Otherwise if you have money to throw around then choose sky. I do like discovery and the history channel and the likes, it’s a shame you have to have all the rest of the crap that goes with it, and by crap I mean endless repeats and Sky’s all around crap service. We are the agents for taking Sky decoders back at work, and about 10 people on average a week return their decoder to us. |
