784604 2009-06-23 06:35:00 In Power Cinema is there a way to tell it to record as a .ts file?

I had a go at converting it, and it seemed to have converted ok, but the audio is a bit mucked up (something I've found myself with very short clips).

Can you upload a slightly longer one maybe - closer to 30 seconds, if the file isn't too big?

I emailed Cyberlink a while back asking if I could record in another format - this was there response:

In response to your concern, we regret to inform you that PowerCinema software records the TV programs in MPEG 2 format only and the software does not have any option to change the TV recording format .

This is a limitation of the software .

I've uploaded another file here . ( . mediafire . com/?5mlmg4hwmyl" target="_blank">www . mediafire . com)

Thanks again somebody :thanks

Either. I'm at a friends place, and don't wanna use much bandwidth so I can't try myself sorry:(

I'll give it another go, and see what happens.

Edit: Just tried it, and it doesn't seem to be making a difference using davidmmac's files - the audio is in sync for the first second or so, then it seems to be all bunched up and then goes silent for the remainder of the clip.

784612 2009-06-23 10:10:00 Well I just downloaded the 30 second file
Playback in VLC = Non-existant
Playback in MPC-HC = Jittery / skippy as heck (think its the k-lite codec pack i have installed)
Plackback in Showtime = fine (no audio?)
Playback in Quicktime = non-existant

File fails to encode in Recode / VLC / x264 / ffmpeg :(

Does the app you used to record it not have any other export / saving-as options?
