| 784377 | 2009-06-22 01:12:00 | Take the 1TB drive out and use anything smaller like a 500gb of 250gb drive. See if that boots up. I had a similar issue with my pc. Put in a 750gb drive and my pc wouldnt start. when i pressed the power button, the fan would spin for a second and that was it. What mobo do you have? | ronyville (10611) | ||

| 784380 | 2009-06-22 02:52:00 | Has the poster connected the GPU 6 pin instead of the CPU 6 pin in error....?, I have done that before!..LOL How in the blue blazes do you do that ?? the pin arrangement is different between the two - just checked on two different PSU's and its impossible to get the wrong plug in the wrong hole.( unless its butchered and forced.) Some have square holes others have square with chamfered corners - the plug for a Graphic Card is different to the CPU arrangment. |
