784007 2009-06-20 08:02:00 My brand new 5.1 Logitech X-530 speaker system has a weird problem.

When I use the speakers the sound that's meant to be coming out the rear speakers comes out the front 2, and nothing comes out the back ones.

I have swapped the jacks on my sound card around, but then the sound for the front and back comes out the rear speakers, and nothgin from the front ones.

Motherboard: Asus P5KC, using high def audio driver from Asus (not the built-in Windows 7 one)

How can I fix this?? It's really annoying me!

784010 2009-06-20 09:14:00 It may seem basic, but are all the speakers plugged into the right jacks in the Subwoofer? Sherman (9181)

Yup, checked that and also the plugs into the back of my PC :)

784013 2009-06-20 13:46:00 Hm... think I had something like that... instead I went into the sounds and audio properties in the control panel instead and unticked a few options there. which solved my problem. kennie (10559)
