| 632815 | 2008-01-22 08:48:00 | Well I've just taken the plunge and brought this speaker / amp combination. Now the wait is on... Anyone have / heard these speakers? I made my decision based on online reviews and if they are all their cracked up to be, then I'll be very pleased. I will review them here once I have them! |

What can I say, these are great and everything I'd hoped they would be (which doesn't happen very often!). I'm constantly impressed with Creative products and these are no exception. However I wouldn't recommend them for use as computer speakers as you really need to be at least 1-1.5m back to appreciate the full range of sound. Up close you tend to miss a lot of the low and some of the mid range. They are great looking and the yellow woven speaker cones so look good with covers off. I intend to use them as lounge speakers in my new (yet to be built) house, so they should be great. One of the negative points I read on the online reviews was that they might be underpowered as the amp hasn't been upgraded from the T20's, but it seemed more than capable to me. Recommend them? Heck yes! They really are a great set of speakers and the price is amazing considering you get a quality inbuilt amp with them. Now I want the Xmod Wireless to go with them :p |
