| 632626 | 2008-01-21 21:57:00 | Has anyone any experience of a Seagate Free Agent USB external drive and Acronis True Image Home combination to produce an exact copy of a home computer in the event of a catastophic failure of the internal hard drive? Hopefully something which is hassle free despite the dollar cost |

| 632627 | 2008-01-21 22:35:00 | I Have done that 10+ times - 500GB FreeAgent, Acronis TrueImage, work amazingly well. $50US for Acronis, and normally about $250-300 for a good sized External Hard Drive (I like Using FreeAgents, no particular reason). | wratterus (105) | ||

Thanks wratterus, did you download your True Image copy from the Acronis US website? |

I use Acronis and an external hard drive to make an image of 2 other peoples C drives I keep updated for them.Handy when one stopped working 2 weeks ago. |
