Other than that W. screen is 'shorter, wider' and that, normal screen is 'normal' or 'traditional'? Which actually gives a more 'natural' look? I also notice that W. screen looks a little 'distorted'. |

In games a slight flattening of circles is noticed on the wide screen, but not enough to distract. I run ms flight sim on the wide screen and all ancillaries on the other. An ideal setup |

| 632515 | 2008-01-21 08:26:00 | How big is your CRT & what res do you run it at? 4:3 LCDs still look ok if you run them a bit below their native res, but widescreen monitors look terrible in anything other than their native res. Widescreen monitors are quite handy for working with text - often it is more convenient to have 2 shorter pages side by side than it is to have one big page. |
