632194 2008-01-20 19:24:00 Hi Guys

I am shattered !

My Windows Media Player will stop running in the year 2155 !

That is scandalous - how can a company sell a program that has a built in expiry date in it !

I only found this out by error, one of my PC's clock is faulty and when I re-boot It selects a date and time at random. This time it selected 2167 ! And this caused my Windows Media Player version 9.00 to not start and come up with an error message that it only functions until 2155 !

Come On Bill !

Regards

632195 2008-01-20 19:45:00 I just recommend using WMP10 for the nonce. It is better than WMP9...and not as bad as WMP11 with all the DRMs and lahdeedah.

I like to keep things simple..except when I am fooling with "L"-things.

Support for v10 goes into infinity and beyond.

632196 2008-01-20 20:02:00 Nothing wrong with WMP11. Just dont use anything that uses DRM.

I wouldnt worry about it, You, me and most of us wont be round then anyway.
