631836 2008-01-19 16:20:00 You into them?

I'm currently waiting for the Hellraiser remake (Actually being made with Clive Barker doing the script).

So yea, post your faves

631837 2008-01-19 18:44:00 I usually find horror movies quite funny and they don't really scare me at all.

However, "The Grudge" (the English language version) really got under my skin. Scared the crap out of me actually.

631838 2008-01-19 18:48:00 The news footage of Jenny Shipley caused a bit of a sweat here a few years ago. R2x1 (4628)
631839 2008-01-19 19:47:00 Depends whether you mean slaughter movies or horror.

The scariest movie I ever saw was so long ago I can't remember its name.
There were lots of mysterious noises heard in another location, doors opening, dogs going nuts but you were never shown anything gory or involving special effects.

Its was extremely creepy.

Yea, they are pretty cool, if you can stand subtitles there are heaps of excellent Jap horrors. America is constantly remaking them (The ring, The grudge, pulse, one missed call, dark water just to name a few).

That Turisto movie is pretty brutal too for a new one. Not what I thought it was going to be.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) is a good example of not actually showing the gore but still giving people a scare. Everyone who's seen it remembers the girl getting impaled on a hook, yet the movie doesn't actually show it.

631842 2008-01-19 21:03:00 Saw was good. The sequels weren't so great.
Wolf Creek was one hell of a horror movie.

631843 2008-01-19 21:38:00 I still haven't sen Saw 4 yet, I watched 30 days of night though, that was pretty badass. Makes vampires more violent instead of cool like on underworld rob_on_guitar (4196)
