| 785784 | 2009-06-25 10:18:00 | I want to share my calendar (Outlook 2007) with my friend who has Outlook 2003. We both have Windows Live ID's. Outlook 2003 appears to require Exchange before it can share, - is this correct? My Outlook 2007 doesnt have Exchange. Does my friend have to upgrade to 2007 or purchase Exchange or is there some other way we can share calendars? Hoping someone can help as rather confused!! |

Still a LOT cheaper than using Exchange Server by a couple of thousand dollars - Example (www.shopbot.co.nz). |

You might be able to get it working if you both have Outlook Connector and use a calendar from Hotmail or Office Live Workspace or Live Groups as the shared one. I haven't tried it so not sure but I think it could work and has the bonus that it would be free. Exchange Online (www.microsoft.com) or the equivalent hosted by various companies (www.microsoft.com) would do it too for a fee. |
