There is no doubt. Everyone should take note of what has been said and by whom. A very satisfying exercise. Thanks everyone. You all did very well. |

So those who dont believe due to factual evidence must be fairly wise. Open minds with facts, it just may work! |

For example, 12 years ago in Paris we met a French/Canadian lady who was a member of the Healing with Hands association. We met her on the Champes Elyse (bad spelling there) as I was pouring water from a fountain over my daughter's extremely swollen and painful ankle - it had been swollen for 3 days even with a day's elevation and rest on the train from Nice. She came over and asked if she could touch the kid's foot. I said "sure" and she sat there for a while just holding it (the kid's eyes were, of course, swivelling on stalks). After about 10 minutes of holding it and talking about the association she said it would be better now and wandered off to get an ice cream. We never saw her again. Sure enough, next day the ankle was completely back to normal with no further problems. Now why did I think that normal and agree without question? Because that particular kid has the power herself - which she usually refuses to acknowledge. When she was little she was absolutely brilliant at getting knots out of necks just by putting her hands on them. You'd feel this warmth and within a few minutes the pain would be gone. Now she's older she hurts like hell (finds the knots instantly with her thumbs and pushes. The knot turns into a burning hot walnut that explodes violently leaving you lying on the floor gasping for breath between yelps) - but it still works |

I have no problem with anyone disagreeing with my point-of-view, but I do object to disagreement, in the majority of cases, with contempt, mockery and sarcasm. There were no questions as to how telepathy may or may not work, there was no argument for or against, just disdain. And you wonder why I rejected the criticism? My thread certainly achieved it's original intention. The subject matter was immaterial so far as the results were concerned - everybody showed their true colours, some good, some bad. Read into the subject of telepathy what you will, that was not the point of the exercise. All respondents have left their personality - good or bad - wide open for all to see. The exercise has exposed for all to see the type of people that lurks on F1. That statement was not to say that all on F1 are nice or not. It simply meant that you have all opened your personalities for all to see. Now you need to make up your mind as to whom you will be willing to associate with and whom you will not. Thank you people - enjoyed every minute - loved winding you up! |

Skeptics seize on these charlatans and use this as an argument to "prove" that all phenomena is bunkum. A truly open mind, in the absence of proof either way, will simply say " I don't know." No it will not. I truly open mind - in the absence of any proof done to scientifically correct, and verified methods will say, "there is nothing here". This open/closed mind bull**** really pisses me off. There are innumerable studies and investigations - not to mention plain bloody logic - that debunks this kind of hokum. In the face of this, the open mind accepts the truth. The closed mind rejects logic and science and clings to mysticism. That is a closed mind. There is no difference between a caveman dressing in animal skins to take on the power of the beast and someone with a holier-than-thou attitude claiming that that great aunt Mavis has contacted them from beyond the grave and told them where she left the car keys before she died. |

| 631653 | 2008-01-21 22:46:00 | At present an unprovable conundrum but...... I'm sure my two Corgis are telepathic. I just have to think about going for a walk and they pick up on it immediately. It's too bad if I'm just thinking what I might do, the little buggers are there all keen and eager to go before I have really thought about it!!!!!! |

I don't know how we'd survive without you on this forum. PS. In case your telepathic powers are on the fritz or taking a break, I was being sarcastic. |
