| 632895 | 2008-01-23 01:20:00 | I once tried to get Telecom to justify a usb cable for my Nokia mobile which they wanted $100 for. They said talk to Nokia which I did and they said they made no comments on pricing and speak to Telecom. And anyway the sales people in the Telecom shop were all robots I had a very similar experience last week. Did you get a cable from somewhere else? If so, where? Andrew P.S. Scratch that - I found them on eBay for under US$10. |

If you are concerned you could complain to the commerce commission, as they could regulate them. They are able to regulate companies that have monopolies in a market. The problem is that microsoft have a bit of a monopoly on desktop business software. OK you can get linux, but you don't have the software range or support for linux. |

| 632898 | 2008-01-23 04:08:00 | Well Fair Go can't do anything about overseas companies. How about Fair Go bringing up the Limited Liability laws that ensure most companies on Fair Go get away with it time and again? Amend that and it might eliminate the need for a lot of their stories. Quite right PC. And we can do this whilst we are at it......... www.familyfirst.org.nz |

| 632900 | 2008-01-23 07:18:00 | Stop hassling Microsoft, if you dont like the cost etc use another operating system. C1 Yes, I'm sure Microsoft monitor PressF1 Chat for anyone hassling Microsoft and "mark their card". Lots of people are questioning the price of Microsoft products in the USA versus their own country. People in Britain were up in arms as they felt they were being charged too much. The more people use OpenOffice.org the more likely Microsoft will review their price (for Office obviously). After paying a crazy price for Office 97 years ago, I decided that I would only buy/upgrade Offce if I really really really needed it. |

Yes, Trademe, but my phone supported Infrared and I spent $18 and used that. From my understanding there are only 3 Nokia data cables. Mine supports 30 Nokia phones, not just my phone. $100 is robbery, sorry, I mean a fair price for an overpriced product. |

The meat did what it was purchased for, and neither caused any discomfort in the nether regions. I haven't yet had a blue wool of death. On the other hand, MicroS - - - - - :badpc: |
