Ahh ok. Now we're getting somewhere. So why would you want to do that? Does it not work? Did it perhaps get a virus?

632488 2008-01-21 07:06:00 Personally I have always had real great service, had 1 board that was intermittent in booting up - told them that - they said RMA it - they replied that they tested it twice and couldn't fault it - but sent a replacement any way - I checked the serial numbers in case, and it was a different / replacement board. wainuitech (129)

632492 2008-01-21 08:31:00 Was the whole PC sent back or just the Parts /mother Board / HD. Sounds more like a possible power Issue or a certain combination of parts causing the problems. wainuitech (129)
632493 2008-01-21 19:50:00 Whats wrong with Zcom ??

Nothing much if you are buying something.
Although most of their stuff is rubbish.

But if you want to RMA something, they are the equivalent of SUpercheap.

Heres some of my experiences:

1)Intel boxed CPU, got told as it was over 1 year I had to send it to Intel myself. The fact that I wouldn't leave without a replacement was the only way that was resolved.

2)Logitech mouse, same thing, got told it was 1year. No amount of arguing would budge them. RMAed through another supplier in the end, after I spoke to Logitech who were not pleased to hear that.

3)Seagate HDD. This time they claimed it was fine as it passed the Seatools test they supposedly ran. Never mind it had the click of death and would not accept anything written to it.
Ended up RMAing direct to Seagate.

After that, and considering most of what they sell I wouldn't touch with a 10' pole, I dumped them as a supplier.
